How to Adopt from True Rescue

Once your application is submitted, our Adoption Counselors will review it. If approved, someone will reach out to set up an interview time. During that call, we will review our adoption agreement, and what services are covered with your adoption fee. If your application is not approved, a counselor will assist with potential next steps. 

We house our adoptable pets at our physical shelter in Mt. Juliet, TN as well as within our foster network. If your application is approved, our Adoption Counselors will work with you to schedule a convenient time to meet and greet. Depending on the current status of the pet, if the meet and greet goes well, we will process our digital adoption at that time. If the animal must remain in our care temporarily, you will have the opportunity to process an adoption hold. This fee of $25 is non-refundable and applies towards the adoption fee.
